However, that did not happen and the Beretta 92 (M9) became history. In my humble opinion the Glock stock has four weaknesses: Sights, trigger, slide stop, and guide rod. The trigger isn't a major weakness, it's just an above average trigger on the gun... But, we'll get to that in a minute. The views, of course, are terrible. The white half square behind the front draws attention away from the front post, as opposed to the need for the side arm. "Gun fight, visionary". This isn't a bad thing because the shooter doesn't have to be able to see his pistol for most events, and we update to night sights regularly. The sights we placed in our Glock design competition were Trijicon suppressor night sights with rear black dots (focusing on the front post). Long compression allows them to see in with our Trijicon RMR red dot sights. The trigger is long and heavy, especially compared to something like the Sig SRT in our "good" article. It's not a big deal because the color correction, pre-trip adjustment, and a $20 trigger bar can be improved. Add spring tools and it will be even better. If you want the best triggers available in any pistol you can find a single drop, adjustable trigger like the Phantom Adjustable Trigger from www.rockyourglock.com that we put in in our Glock design. The lead rod is polymer, weak and cheap. The source is also weak. A slightly weaker stock spring allows the Glock to shift lighter loads, but increases recoil. We believe that the polymer guide rod is more problematic than the stainless steel or tungsten type. A heavier spring and guide rod like the one we used for the Glock build will definitely reduce the feel. If you're using a press it's easy enough to remove the light source for proper press/strike. We used a Glockmeister tungsten spring assembly with an 18lb spring for our 3-gun custom model Glock 34. Finally, the slide suspension. I believe this is a weak point in the missile's mechanical design. It has a weak stand and is very dependent on a small platform and a weak spring. When I had to use a Glock pistol for self defense in a life or death situation, the slide lock broke and locked the slide back after firing. one round (Murphy's Law). Fortunately, that round I fired saved my life. This is also a simple solution (pipe, rack, tap), if I need to shoot more rounds. However, all machines have problems, all machines are weak, if they happen they will, and this is the only design flaw in Glock. It can also prevent and properly maintain (spring changes), clean, and inspect one's firearm. There is no "easy fix" for anti-filming, but it should not be a major issue if the springs are replaced as needed (part of routine maintenance). When we wrote our "best" pistol article we knew it was time to dedicate an article to Glock. We built the Glock 34 with some of the best parts, no part of a Glock, and this gives us the opportunity to compare and contrast our design with that of OEM Glock pistols. Most of our guys have Glocks, most of them carry Glocks, and one of them shot competition for the Glock team, who is an expert Glock gun builder (He did all the work on this build). Glasses have come a long way since their initial invention and now come in all shapes, sizes and colors. The different models offered are very different beasts, but all Glock pistols are mechanically and functionally similar so it's worth writing that the general information applies to them all.

In fact, the Glock was a real game changer in many areas that left gun manufacturers scrambling to recreate performance gains. We went with the Lone Wolf frame for our design which is made with Glock specs but not a Glock frame. The shape of the grip is different, we changed it by adding a custom attachment, and giving the delivery area a little more. We dipped our frame in Multicam camo and Twin State Hydrographics. There are very few moving parts and every part in a Glock pistol. There are only a few parts that are very easy to disassemble and reassemble. This makes it easier to clean and maintain semi-automatic pistols, as well as other mechanical equipment ... there are fewer moving parts and less chance for error. Another change that got a lot of attention was the angle of the trap. This usually affects the angle at which the arm is held in the sagittal plane when firing the pistol. It's a lot different than shooting, say, a 1911-style pistol so if that's what you know how to shoot it might change your shooting grip and hand angle. Whether you like Glock pistols or not, they are more accurate to grip than most of their predecessors. Another aspect of the trap that is often overlooked is its round shape with flat sides. This allows the skilled shooter to know the wind direction of his pistol without using the sights. Team members rarely use their sight when shooting a shot at close range and accuracy by "feel" and "hard memory" is very easy to determine with the Glock so the nature of the hunt. For this reason, some of our personal training pistols do not have sights. A blow is more rounded and it is more difficult to determine the direction of the wind by guesswork alone. The only downside of the catchy design is that it's a little annoying. The gun's solid sales can be lost when water, dirt, or body fluids are introduced into the product in adverse conditions. Fortunately, anti-seizure prevention is common, simple, and effective for these conditions.
One of the biggest advantages of owning a Glock is the ability to customize and the availability of aftermarket parts. This is a good thing in our opinion because each Glock pistol can be customized to meet the specific needs of the owner.
