Full Terror Assault - The full Terror Assault Open Air Festival is America's best hope for a European heavy metal festival. Headlined by bands like Soulfly, Kataklysm, Grave, Jungle Rot, Vio-lence, Exhorder, Unearth, Ringworm and dozens more, the festival is less than a month away. Thursday September 5 will feature Kataklysm, Exhorder, Chrisian, Hatchet, Morbid Saint, Bleed the Curban, A Hill to Die on, Embalzonment, Circle Summoner, Pulcraha Morte, Crater, Eulogy in Blood and Buzzard.

On the last day of the festival, Soulfly, Vio-Lens, M.O.D., Skeletal Remains, Crissix, Stone Casting, Opening, Indestructible Voice Command, Understanding, Autumn Coming, Meeting the Mail, Smashing Potatoes, Rage, Poolside at Flamingo, Confused, Prison, Cheese Grater masturbation and hammerhead.

In addition, Full Terror Assault has announced Crysix, Meet the Mailman, Smash Potter and Thru N Thru as artists appearing on Thursday night of the festival at Cobra Lounge in Chicago.
"One of the main goals of a full-scale terrorist attack is to expose the underground metal scene," says the full-scale terrorist attack team. "Our Chicago pre-party is just another way to do it. The lineup is a mix of bands that play at the festival as well as some underground favorites that don't play at the festival. This year we have Spanish thrashers Crisix for their first US show, Canadian heavy metal band Meet the Mailmen for the first Chicago show and local smashes Potter and Thru N Thru.
