Military watches seem to be an endless source of fascination for collectors of civilian watches, and for good reason: Watches specifically designed and manufactured to adorn the wrists of infantry men and women, divers, explosive ordnance disposal personnel, private operators, and others. Those who regularly risk their lives in war. There are very few unnecessary design elements in a military wristwatch - what is present is only what is absolutely necessary to get the job done, and there is a special beauty in such products.
What are the essential features to make a military wristwatch mission ready? There isn't necessarily a hard-coded list of features, but the following features make a good starting point:
